Last weekend (25 July) saw the biggest update since we launched back in March. In this post we’ll quickly outline the main elements of this update:

1. Popup editor improvement

The popup builder received a significant improvement update and code rebuild, with the net result of making the builder load faster and more stable than before. We estimate that you should see around 30-40% improvement in page loads.

We have also introduced a new feature, the possibility to show a « Step » upon opt-in form submit instead of redirecting to a separate thank you page. For more ino on this, please see the FAQ here: Using a step as a thank you page.

2. Improved campaign distribution system

We’ve worked hard to improve the campaign embedding system to make Engagifire serve your popups to your websites a lot more faster than before. We’ve also implemented some new caching rules and further optimised campaigns based on the almost six months worth of data since launch. We’re very pleased with the new result.

3. Campaign Setup Enhancements

On to a couple of our most requested features, we have now added a preview button to the initial template selection process, making it easy to preview a template before entering the builder. We’ve also added the option to duplicate an entire campaign. So if you have a great campaign running with multiple popups in the campaign and want to carry the entire campaign over to to another domain, this is now possible in just a few clicks.

4. New Integrations

Active campaign has been added to the list of autoresponders with direct API access and we’ll be looking to integrate further with active campaign in the coming months. Stay tuned on this one as we have some exciting developments ahead in this area.

5. Misc Updates

Last but not least we’ve added visitor IP Address to our internal storage data to make CSV import into your autoreponder a smoother process. By adding this data point, autoresponders are now more willing to accept the imported list.

 

Finally, i’d just like to close with some stats on usage. Here goes:

  • 24,799,260 popups served since launch
  • 266,105 popup impressions per day on average during July
  • 13,922 campaigns created to date

Naturally, we’re pretty pleased with these figures. Its a great start, but only the beginning. We have big things planned and thank you once again for being one of our early adopters. We want to continue to reward you with product improvements as we continue to build on the software in the months ahead.
